Job Description:
“ Activity Specialists” are needed in the following areas:
(1) Music Production- Teaching/Working with students who are interested in producing, songwriting, engineering, singing/rapping, playing instruments. Also utilize the latest music software (i.e.-Reason, OSX).
(2) DJ Club- Also looking for a music “specialist” to teach a DJ club.
- Dance/Step - Teach students hip-hop dance and step routines. Work with students to enter various competitions. May be two positions (Hip Hop Dance/ Step)
- Cheerleading Coach - Teach students cheerleading routines and form a spirit team.
- Tutor - Provide students with homework help and tutoring in core subjects (Math, English, Science).
Specialists will help lead the after school clubs on a weekly part-time basis, and must be available from January 2008 to June 2008. Clubs run from 2:45-5:45 on various days of the week. Competitive hourly wages offered.
Qualifications:
- A College Degree is preferred, however candidates with demonstrate experience in their respective field may be considered.
- This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with youth, parents and administration.
- Creative and strong organizational skills are required.
Work Schedule: 2:45-5:45pm/ various hours & days of the week
